The unifying theme of Michael’s career is the convergence of digital data, technology, content and services. He has led businesses across global vertical markets in economics, financial and country risk, aerospace, defence and security, oil, gas and coal, maritime and trade, and agribusiness.
Currently President and Managing Director of Agribusiness Intelligence at Informa, Michael was previously our Managing Director of Agribusiness Intelligence and Maritime Intelligence.
Former roles also include Senior Vice President and Managing Director of IHS Jane’s and IHS Maritime, Non-Executive Chairman of PPA Business and a Non-Executive Director of the Professional Publishers’ Association (PPA), and Senior Vice President of Editorial and Publishing at IHS.
His career began as an economist and analyst with Oxford Analytica, after which he moved through analytical, operational and commercial management roles at UBS and Jane’s Information Group, where as Deputy Chief Executive he was part of the team that sold the business to IHS.
Global Director of Consulting at Agribusiness Intelligence
Tom is involved in project consulting in all segments of agriculture and food, taking medium and long-term outlooks for global and regional environments and applying them to decision-making situations.
He has also been involved in many of the Informa Economics IEG training programs. A specialist in business strategy, agribusiness economic development and market analysis, Tom has expensive expertise in the agribusiness sectors of North America and other regions.
Tom joined us in 1989, before which he worked for the Continental Grain Company in roles including management, trading, logistics and merchandising.
He has a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a master's degree in business administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
Director of Crops, Livestock, and Energy at Agribusiness Intelligence
Priscilla has led the research teams focused on crops, livestock/protein, energy and transportation since she joined Informa Economics IEG in 2017.
Her career has been in business intelligence, focused on a range of industry verticals. Before joining Informa, she was instrumental in the M&A activity that created IHS’s automotive, chemicals, and technology, media and telecom information verticals.
She has also held executive management roles at the leading economic forecasting and information company, Global Insight.
Priscilla has a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Delaware. She also did graduate coursework in econometrics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Global Head of Marketing at Agribusiness Intelligence
As Global Head of Marketing for Agribusiness Intelligence, Toby heads up the global marketing team based in London, New York, Hong Kong and Memphis.
Since joining Informa in 2009, he has worked in several Agribusiness marketing roles, leading branding communications and product marketing strategy for new and legacy brands as well as integrating new acquisitions in to the business.
His focus is on improving customer experience through their services to ensure Agribusiness Intelligence is providing the best possible value to customers and that they are aware of our full breadth of offerings across the value chain.
He graduated with a degree from Loughborough University in Sports Science with Management in 2008.
Head of Customer Success at Agribusiness Intelligence
As Head of Customer Success for Agribusiness Intelligence, Daniela is responsible for the customer experience of our subscribers.
She leads and works with an energetic Global Customer Success team, focused on supporting daily subscribers and helping them fulfil their business needs and challenges by using our services.
Daniela started her career at Datamonitor in 2008 and has worked in marketing, sales operation, and client services across the different industry verticals in the Informa Group.
Managing Director of Commodities at Agribusiness Intelligence
As Managing Director of Commodities, Phil’s focus is on delivering data-driven online services that provide exceptional value to clients.
Although responsible for business in our Agribusiness Intelligence vertical, his career spans a range of market sectors, including technology, pharma, energy, retail, legal and risk and finance.
He has had a 30-year career in major business organizations. Before moving to commercial management roles at Informa, he held marketing roles at UBM, and RELX Group.
Global Head of Sales at Agribusiness Intelligence
Currently Global Head of Sales at Agribusiness Intelligence, Jonathan was previously Global Head of Sales for Reed Business Information. There he led the sales and customer success operations in the Real Estate, Human Resources and Agriculture verticals.
Jonathan began his career at The Guardian and The Observer newspapers. After this, he moved into a series of commercial roles in the business-to-business information and marketing solutions industry.
