Crystal Carpenter’s primary responsibilities lie in consulting, research and analyses for players across agriculture and biofuel supply chains. As a Vice President, she co-ordinates US IEG consulting team resources.
Crystal’s expertise includes strategic development, econometric and optimization modeling, surveys and industry interviews. She is also involved in economic development, market and price forecasts, policy impact analyses, feasibility studies, and customizing Excel and web tool designs.
Before joining Informa, she was a graduate research assistant at Michigan State University where she developed a non-linear mathematical simulation model that identified optimal distillers’ dried grain inclusion rates into beef feedlot rations.
