Peter Rixon’s role focuses on food law and policy and how stakeholders are tackling the obesity epidemic, habitat destruction, socio-ethical sourcing, food-related illness and demands for more localized production.
As well as covering issues such as changes to the labelling of food, legal debates on food technology, rulings on advertising and developments in nutrition strategy, Peter hosts webinars and meetings on food-related issues.

Peter joined us in 2000 and has covered pharmaceuticals, medical technology, clinical trials, political lobbying, animal pharmaceuticals, and GM food in Europe, as well as food and environmental issues.

Before joining Informa, Peter worked in UK newspapers covering environmental, health, crime and political issues.
