Jonathan Shoham | Agribusiness Intelligence
Jonathan is a Senior Consultant Analyst at Agribusiness Intelligence and has over 30 years experience in the crop protection industry.

As a Senior Consultant Analyst, Jonathan provides expertise across the crop protection, seeds and agri food chain helping our clients to make informed decisions on their strategy. His main areas of specialism are agricultural economics and scenario planning.

 

Jonathan has worked in a variety of commercial and technical roles in the crop protection and seed industry for over 30 years, latterly as Head of Business Intelligence for Syngenta. He has worked particularly closely with the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture both within and since leaving Syngenta, providing them with business intelligence support. He joined Phillips McDougall in 2017 but has several years’ experience writing reports for the Agribusiness Intelligence team. He is also a vital member of the Agribusiness Intelligence consultancy team.

    Phillips McDougall has just published an updated version of its well-known infographic tracing the evolution of the leading agrochemical companies. Events over the past 2-3 years have led to an overhaul of the industry, beginning in 2016 with ChemChina’s acquisition of Adama (then Makhteshim-Agan Industries).
