Largest ever BioPesticide study in Brazil
Brazil is one of the largest agricultural producers in the world and makes up a significant portion of the nascent biopesticide market. This study looked at micro and macro biopesticide trends, involving 130 qualitative and quantitative questions with results pertaining to 12 different crop types. We carried out 770 face-to-face interviews with users and non-users of biopesticides to understand both current trends and how biopesticide producers can target new potential customers.
Richard Brostowicz, head of IEG | FNP, commented, “Biopesticides have been the subject of significant increase in interest and use in recent times. Testament to an ongoing desire to invest in their further development, we have had 16 sponsors help bring this report to fruition.”
The results of the report will offer significant insight into current agricultural purchasing habits surrounding biopesticides together with views on how their usage will evolve and the required areas of investment for their ongoing development and uptake.
Brostowicz continued “This report will offer unprecedented insight to readers, in turn informing them about the role biopesticides will play in our industry now and in years to come. Carrying out such an extensive study also serves to highlight our commitment to providing the agribusiness sector with the very best research and data as well as our market leading reputation for breadth and depth of industry coverage."
